James Bond posters. Beauties and Baddies.
A private commission I completed a little while ago. Forgive how tiny Honey Rider turned out. Photoshop-enlarge her in your mind. We were going for a 60’s Robert Mcginnis type feel, which is a look I think a lot of my work and style can sometimes reflect anyway. It was a lot of fun mixing and mashing all the different eras of Bonds and characters from throughout the series’ run. Let me know what you guys think!
Here we have a not-so-recent commission by mister Chris Diaz, who I got to meet at APE 2012 and was nice enough to do a feature about me and my showing at APE on his blog.
He was such a sweet heart and commissioned four small pieces of me of which I have done only HALF. Cause I’m a monster. And he’s eternally patient and understanding. I have so much work to do and he has been great and I don’t want him to think I’ve forgotten him because I have not. The piece is of Maggie Cheung from In The Mood For Love. The likeness isn’t as close as I would have wanted it but I’m so happy with the overall piece. These small APE commissions really give me a chance to explore and experiment and I think this one was a success. What say all of you? :P
This was for a friend’s fashion blog that never saw the light of day. Whenever I draw men’s fashion it becomes distracting. Often times I want the outfit I draw. And the man.
